This hinge lifts your Westfalia camper or custom bench seat high enough to fit a raised engine deck lid of a T3 Vanagon. It offers more storage above the engine compartment and is a great solution for TDI engine conversions where the engine deck is raised. In sitting position the seat is the same height as the stock bench.

This lift hinge is also used in Reimo T3 Jolly Van interiors.
